Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence, born Jennifer Shrader Lawrence on August the 15th 1990 in Kentucky is an American actress. After being scouted by a talent scout at the age of fourteen, her first major role came when she became a cast member in the sitcom The Bill Engvall Show and had her breakthrough role in Winter’s Bone, an independent film and found herself nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards for her role. This would become her first of four nominations, which would lead to a win in 2012 for Silver Linings Playbook.

Listed as one of the most profitable actors of 2015 and 2016, she is known for her quirky personality and portrayal of Raven or Mystique in the X-Men franchise and Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games film franchise.  Most recently portraying Dominika Egorova in Red Sparrow, the actress has been praised critically and commercially for her talent.
