Jay Critch

Jay Critch is an American hip hop artist and rapper, born in Brooklyn, New York on the 25th of February 1997, he is described by many as being the quintessential sound of New York. From a Haitian background, Critch’s music is heavily influenced by the sounds he listened to as a child and was introduced to rap music by his brother.

Bursting into mainstream media with the hit song Fashion, it became lauded as new wave rap and became viral on YouTube with over ten million views so far. The song’s success led to Critch’s now immense online fan following, with follow up songs such as Speak Up and Did It Again. He signed to Rich The Kids‘ label Rich Forever, which also includes rapper Famous Dex.
