Israel Houghton

Israel Houghton is an American Christian music singer, songwriter, producer, and worship leader born in Oceanside, California on May 19, 1971. He is often credited as Israel & New Breed. In 1997 he released his debut studio album titled Whisper It Loud and has since released the albums New Season, Nueva Generación, Real, Live From Another Level, Alive in South Africa, A Timeless Christmas, A Deeper Level, The Power of One, Love God, Love People, Decade, Jesus at the Center: Live, Jesús en el Centro (En Vivo), The Very Best of Israel & New Breed, Covered: Alive in Asia, and The Road To DeMaskUs. Houghton has released his music and albums through the labels Integrity and RCA Inspiration. Throughout his career he has been nominated for numerous awards and has won six Grammy Awards, eleven Dove Awards, and two Stellar Awards.
