Imogen Heap

Imogen Heap is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and audio engineer born in Havering, London on December 9, 1977. From a young age Imogen taught herself how to play several instruments and started writing songs at 13 years old. She released her debut studio album iMegaphone in 1998 and has since released the albums Speak for Yourself, Ellipse, and Sparks. Heap has also released the EPs, Live Session EP, iTunes Festival: London ’07 – Imogen Heap: An Evening with iMegaphone, MTV Live Sessions, and Live Charity Improvisations: North American Tour 2010. She releases her songs and albums through the labels Almo Sound, Megaphonic, and RCA. Heap has also had songs featured in a number of films and television shows. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won two Grammy Awards, an Ivor Novello Award, an MPG Award, and a Drama Desk Award.
