Gregg Allman

Gregg Allman

Born on December 8, 1947, Gregory LeNoir Allman came from Nashville, Tennessee. He was a member of the Allman Brothers Band, together with his brother Duane back in 1967. The band’s notable songs are “Whipping Post” and “Midnight Rider.” Then the album “Brothers and Sisters” soon followed.

“Brothers and Sister” hit the charts while Gregg Allman started to emerge as a solo artist, receiving critical acclaim for his hit “Laid Back.” Because of personality disputes and other problems, the Allman Brothers Band disbanded. But the band reunited for the 1997’s “Searchin’ for Simplicity” and “One More Try.”
