FRENSHIP

Frenship is an American electropop group based out of Los Angeles, California. The group members consist of James Sunderland and Brett Hite. The duo met during their time working at Lululemon in Los Angles. They both heard each other’s music and became fans of one another. They began working on music together in 2013. Their first track entitled “Knives” was posted to Soundcloud in the same year. The song was produced by Norwegian producer Matoma.  The song received critical online recognition.  Frenship then posted their second single called “Nowhere.”  The third single released was entitled “Carpet.”  In 2016 the duo released the song “Capsize.”  The song was produced in collaboration with singer and songwriter Emily Warren.  The single reached number 1 on Hype Machine and gained over 360 million streams on Spotify.  The follow up single “1000 Nights” gained 14 million streams.  In 2016 Frenship released their debut EP called Truce on Columbia Records.
