Freddie Freeman

Freddie Freeman was born in Fountain Valley, California on September 12, 1989. He was the second round pick of the Atlanta Braves in the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft. His current position is the first baseman. He made his debut on September 1, 2010. During his career, he has been a part of the All-Star Games three times, in 2013, 2014, and 2018. He was also the Wilson Defensive Player in 2018, and he received the Gold Gloves in 2018. Freeman was the Rookie of the Month in July 2011, and he was named as the recipient of a similar award in September 2016. He is also a five-time recipient of the NL Player of the Week award, three of which were in 2016. He is still signed to Atlanta Braves, and his contract will expire in 2022.
