Fernandinho

Fernandinho is a Brazilian professional footballer born in Londrina, Brazil on May 4, 1985. He is currently a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the Brazil national team. He started his career as a senior in 2002 at the Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense. In 2005 he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk. While with Shakhtar Donetsk he became one of the best foreign players to play in the Ukraine Premier League. While there Shakhtar Donetsk won six Ukrainian Premier League titles, four Ukrainian Cups and the 2008-2009 UEFA Cup. In 2013 he was signed with the Premier League club Manchester City as their first signing of the summer. He made his Premier League debut on August 19, 2013 against Newcastle United. Fernandinho has played on the Brazil national team since 2011. With the national team he has competed in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the 2015 Copa América, and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
