Father

Father is an Atlanta rapper and head of Awful Records. Forming the group with his roommates Ethereal and Archibald Slim, the label would come to be known as the home of some of Atlanta’s strangest and most creative artists on the scene. Father first gained national recognition for his hit single Look At Wrist, which featured fellow Atlanta native iLoveMakonnen. The single was released in promotion of his debut full-length mixtape Young Hot Ebony, which was released in 2014. He followed it up immediately the next year with Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First, the eponymous single for which had a music video debuted on Pitchfork. His most recent album, I’m A Piece Of Shit, was released in 2016 to generally positive reviews, and featured recent signee Abra on many tracks.
