Eva Longoria is an American actress, producer, and director born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 15, 1975. She is best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on the television show Desperate Housewives. She made her debut on television in 2000 in the television show Beverly Hills, 90210 and continued landing roles in the shows The Young and the Restless, Dragnet, Desperate Housewives, Children’s Hospital, Welcome to the Family, Mother Up!, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Devious Maids, Empire, Jane the Virgin and more. In 2003 she made her debut in film in the movie Snitch’d and has since had roles in the films The Sentinel, Harsh Times, Without Men, Lower Learning, A Dark Truth, Visions, Overboard, Dog Days, Frontera and others. She made her directorial debut in 2014 on the show Devious Maids and has been a producer for episodes of the shows Jane the Virgin, Telenovela, Black-ish, The Mick, and LA to Vegas. Longoria has been a producer on the shows and films The Harvest, Mother Up, Devious Maids, John Wick, Food Chains, Go, Sebastien, Go!, Telenovela, and Grand Hotel. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two ALMA Awards, a Teen Choice Award and more.
