Eric Wood

Eric Wood was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 18. 1986. He was the first round, the 26th overall pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2009 NFL Draft. He started playing as the team’s right offensive guard. Later on, he was transferred to play center.

In 2018, Wood announced his retirement due to medical reasons. He was a Pro Bowl selectee in 2015. In the same year, he was chosen as on the Bills’ Man of the Year making him eligible for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.

In college, Wood went to Louisville where he served as the center for the Cardinals. College Football News, Sporting News, and Rivals.com honored him with the Freshman All-American first-team recognition. He also earned the Academic All-Big East award.
