Emma Louise

Emma Louise, born Emma Louise Lobb, is an Australian singer-songwriter from Cairnes. While well-known in her home country, Emma Louise did not receive international attention until Wankelmut, a Berlin-based DJ, remixed her single “Jungle” for release in Europe, where it became a hit in Italy. Emma Louise has released one EP, 2011’s Full Hearts & Empty Rooms, and one album, 2013’s Vs Head Vs Heart. Full Hearts & Empty Rooms debuted at number 1 on the AIR Independent Distro charts. In 2011, Emma Louise won the Breakthrough Artist Award at the National Independent Music Awards; she was also nominated for Best Female Artist at the 2013 ARIA Awards. Her single “Jungle” was also awarded Best Pop Song and Song of the Year at the 2011 Queensland Music Awards.
