Emma Hill
Emma Hill was born on August 12, 1985 in England. She’s a fashion designer that has made a dramatic impact on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. She first attended Wimbledon School of Art in 1989, and then later graduated with a fashion degree from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in 1992. Right out of college, she was an accessory designer for Burberry for 2 years, from 1992 until 1994. After her stint with Burberry, she moved to the United States to work as an accessory designer for Liz Claiborne.
She moved from designer to designer over the course of several years once in New York. She spent time at Marks and Spencer as an accessory designer, and then with Marc Jacobs followed by Gap, where she became the vice president of adult accessory design.
She started freelancing in 2006, becoming a consultant for Temperley, Reiss, and Chloe (in Paris). From 2006 to 2013 she worked as the creative director for Mulberry. Under her direction, Mulberry received the Best Designer Brand Award at the 2010 British Fashion Awards. She also blogs at her EJ Style blog.
