Earnest Pugh

Earnest Pugh was born in  Memphis, Tennessee on November 23, 1971. His debut album, Earnest Pugh Live: A Worshipper’s Perspective entered the US Gospel chart, peaking at No. 35. His follow up, Live: Rain On Us in 2009 made it to No. 2 of the US Gospel chart and No. 5 of the Christian charts. The album also spawned the single “Rain On Us” which topped the Hot Gospel charts.

Pugh’s third album, Earnestly Your topped both charts and peaked at No. 51 of the US charts. The singles “I Need Your Glory” and “Perfect Peace” also charted in the Hot Gospel charts.

In the following years, he released Christmas With Earnest Pugh, The Worship in Nassau Experience, Hidden Treasures, and Collaborations, and Survive. In 2018, he released The UNSUNG Hits, Vol. 1.
