Duckwrth

Rapper, singer, and visual artist Duckwrth was born Jared Lee in the South Central area of Los Angeles, California.  He sang in the choir as a child and would engage friends in rap battles throughout his school years.  He didn’t officially start making music until moving to San Francisco for college in 2006, where he studied graphic design and founded artist collective Them Hellas.

In 2012, Duckwrth released his first mixtape, Ducktape, followed by Taxfree V1, in 2014.  In 2015 he released NOWHERE, a collaboration with The KickDrums.  His first full-length album I’M UUGLY was released in September 2017, and included single “GET UUGLY.”

Duckwrth designs much of the artwork that accompanies his releases.  He has also appeared in ad campaigns for Levis, Facebook, and clothing company Rare Panther.
