Dotan

Dotan is the stage name of the Dutch-Israeli singer, songwriter, musician, and producer Dotan Harpenau. He was born in Jerusalem, Israel on October 26, 1986. In 2011 he released his debut album titled Dream Parade. The album charted at number 55 in the Netherlands. He released his second studio album in 2014 titled 7 Layers. The album charted at number one in the Netherlands and achieved Double Platinum in the Netherlands. The single “Home” from the album reached Double Platinum in the Netherlands and Gold in Belgium. It is also one of the top 5 most streamed albums in the Netherlands on Spotify. His songs have been used in the shows The 100, Pretty Little Liars, and The Originals. His single “Shadow Wind “ was chosen as the 2016 Olympic Games anthem.
