Don Johnson

Don Johnson is an American actor, singer, producer, and director born in Flat Creek, Missouri on December 15, 1949. He is best known for his roles on the television series Miami Vice and Nash Bridges. He got his start in acting in theater on the stage production of Fortune and Men’s Eyes in 1969. His debut in film was in 1970 in the movie The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart. He went on to land roles in movies like, A Boy and His Dog, Tin Cup, Goodbye Lover, Django Unchained, The Other Woman, and others. In 1971 he made his debut on television in the show Serge and has since been in the television series Big Hawaii, Police Story, Miami Vice, Nash Bridges, Blood & Oil, and more. He released his first studio album in 1986 titled Heartbeat, the single on the album titled the same name reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1989 he released his second album titled Let It Roll. Throughout his career in acting he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Golden Globe Award, a Saturn Award, a Bravo Otto Award, a TV Land Award, a ShoWest Award, a Golden Scroll Award, and has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
