Dinosaur Pile-Up is an English alternative rock band formed in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England in 2007. The current members of the band are Matt Bigland on lead vocals and guitar, Jim Cratchley on bass guitar, and Mike Sheils on drums. The group was started as a solo project by Matt Bigland while he was in his old band Mother Vulpine. In 2007 Mother Vulpine split up and that same year Bigland brought on other members to make his project a full band. They released their debut EP in 2008 titled My Rock “n” Roll EP and have since released the EPs Traynor 7”, The Most Powerful EP in the Universe!, Peninsula, and 11:11. In 2010 they released their debut studio album titled Growing Pains. They have also released the albums Nature Nurture, Eleven Eleven, and Celebrity Mansions.
