Dimmu Borgir

Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band formed in 1993 in Oslo Norway. The current members of the band are Shagrath on vocals, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and drums, Galder on lead guitar and bass guitar, and Silenoz on rhythm guitar, vocals, and bass guitar. The band’s name comes from the volcanic formation in Iceland, Dimmuborgir. They released their debut EP in 1994 titled Inn i evighetens morke and have since released the EPs Devil’s Path, Alive in Torment, World Misanthropy, and Interdimensional Summit. In 1995 they released their debut studio album titled For all tid. They have also released the albums Stormblast, Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Spiritual Black Dimensions, Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, Death Cult Armageddon, In Sorte Diaboli, Abrahadabra, and Eonian.
