Deepak Chopra

Deepak Chopra is an Indian-born American author, physician, and public speaker born in New Delhi, British India on October 22, 1946. In 1970 he moved to the United States. After arriving in the United States he started a clinical internship at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey. He earned his license to practice medicine in Massachusetts in 1973 after completing residencies at Lahey Clinic, the VA Medical Center, St Elizabeth’s Medical Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Chopra gives speeches and writes books about metaphysics and the study of consciousness and Vedanta philosophy. He is an advocate for alternative medicine and a prominent figure in the New Age Movement. He has written numerous books, including Perfect Health, Ageless Body Timeless Mind, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, The Soul of Leadership, God: A Story of Revelation, The Path to Love, The Book of Secrets, What Are You Hungry For?, The Return of Merlin and more.
