David DeCastro

David DeCastro is an American professional football player born in Kirkland, Washington on January 11, 1990. He is currently a guard for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He played football in high school at Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Washington and was teammates with Stephen Schilling. He went on to play college football at Stanford University for the Stanford Cardinal football team from 2008 to 2011. In 2012 he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round, 24th overall, in the 2012 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract for $7.81 million with $6.35 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $4.12 million. In 2015 the Steelers exercised the fifth-year option on his contract and in 2016 he signed a five-year extension contract with the Steelers for $50 million.
