David Copperfield

Born in 1956, David Seth Kotkin, otherwise known as David Copperfield is an American magician and illusionist. Born in New Jersey, Copperfield became the youngest person admitted to the Society of American Magicians at the age of 12. By the age of sixteen, he was teaching courses in magic at New York University.

Described by Forbes as histories most commercially successful magician. With over 38 nominations, his television specials have won 21 Emmy Awards. Copperfield also holds 11 Guinness World Records, a knighthood from the French Government and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Copperfield also has his own charity, Project Magic, a rehabilitation program that uses magic as physical therapy, the project has been running since 1982.
