Darryl Worley

Darryl Worley was born on October 31, 1964 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is an American country singer-songwriter with a distinctive voice. After majoring in biology at the University of Northern Alabama, Worley worked a variety of jobs while focusing his efforts on a career in music. A stint performing in bars led to a record contract with DreamWorks Records Nashville and his first album, Hard Rain Don’t Last. The title track of his Gold-certified second album, I Miss My Friend, earned Worley his first number one country hit. In total, he has achieved three number one hits and nine others have reached the Top 40. He has since released three more albums, opened a restaurant and participates in numerous charity events.
