Cozz

Cozz is the stage name of the American rapper Cody Osagie. He was born in Los Angeles, California on October 1, 1993. In 2013 he made a demo tape that his manger showed to the rapper J. Cole and he was signed to the label Dreamville Records. He released his debut album titled Cozz & Effect in 2014. The album was intended to be a mixtape but ended up becoming his debut studio album. In 2015 he was part of J. Cole’s tour 2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour along with the artists Jeremih, Big Sean, Bas, Omen, and others. He released his first mixtape in 2016 titled Nothin Personal that was produced by Nothin’ Personal and featured the rappers Bas, Boogie, and Free Ackrite. In 2018 he released his second studio album titled Effected that features the artists Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. That same year he announced his tour The Effected Tour that would be in 16 cities around the United States to promote his new album.
