Corey Liuget

Corey Liuget was born Corey Devon Liuget in Miami, Florida on March 18, 1990. He was the first round, 18th overall pick of the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2011 NFL Draft. The Los Angeles Chargers signed him to a  four-year contract. He serves as the defensive tackle of the team and wears shirt No. 94. Prior to going pro, he played college football at University of Illinois.

Liuget was the Player of the Week for AFC Defensive in Week 3 of 2014. In June 2015, the Chargers decided to extend his contract for five years and signed him to a $58.5 million deal with a guaranteed amount of $30 million. During his college football years, he was named second-team All-Big Ten. He decided to forego his last season as a senior at Illinois to enter the NFL draft.
