Cillian Murphy
Cillian Murphy is an Irish stage and screen actor. Hailing from County Cork, his career began as a rock musician and began an acting career in theatre and in independent films in the late 1990’s. Rising to international fame after working on films such as Cold Mountain, Intermission and Red Eye, Murphy made a name for himself with the film Breakfast on Pluto for which he earned a Golden Glove nomination.
He then went on to play Jonathan Crane in the highly successful and critically acclaimed Dark Knight Trilogy, filmed by acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, who he then worked with again in the Academy Award nominated film Dunkirk. With over thirty award nominations and six wins under his belt, he will next be seen in director Luc Besson’s Anna.
