Charlie Hunnam
Charles Matthew Hunnam was born April 10, 1980 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England. Charles also goes by Charlie and Britain got to know him in 1999 as Nathan Maloney in the TV show Queer as Folk. Charlie attracted international attention in 2002 when he played with Katie Holmes in Abandon. He had his first lead role in a film was in 2002 in Nicholas Nickleby. In 2003 he played a pivotal character in Cold Mountain. Charlie had a role in Green Street Hooligans and caught the eye of Kurt Sutter who asked Charlie to play in the popular TV series Sons of Anarchy in the role of “Jax” about an outlaw motorcycle club. Charlie is known to play parts of psychopaths or tough anti hero types. In the 2016 film The Lost City of Z Charlie plays the lead role as Percy Fawcett, a British surveyor who explores the River Amazon region. His film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword premiered in May 2017 with Charlie in the leading role.
