Carl Frampton

Carl Frampton is known as The Jackal. He won the Irish Amateur Boxing Association title in two weight divisions. He also won the European Union Amateur Boxing Championships in 2007. His amateur record is 114-11.

He made his debut as a professional boxer in 2009. He won the vacant British Celtic super-bantamweight title in 2010. He received the award Prospect of the Year during the Irish National Boxing Awards in 2010.

The next year, he won the vacant Commonwealth super-bantamweight title. In 2012, he defeated Raul Hirales Jr. and won the vacant IBF Inter-Continental super-bantamweight title. In 2013, he won the European super-bantamweight title and then the IBF super-bantamweight title in 2014.

Frampton defeated Scott Quigg in 2016 and won the Won WBA (Super) super-bantamweight title.
