Butch Patrick

Butch Patrick is an American actor born in Los Angeles, California on August, 2, 1953. He is best known for playing the child werewolf Eddie Munster on the television show The Munsters and in the film Munster, Go Home. He is also known for his role as Mark on the ABC show Lidsville. Patrick starting acting from the age of seven after being scouted by a talent agent. After being discovered he appeared in a number of commercials on television. He made his debut in a film in 1961 in the movie The Two Little Bears. Butch has had roles in a number of television shows and films, including Ben Casey, General Hospital, Mister Ed, The Real McCoys, The Monkees, Daniel Boone, Gunsmoke, Death Valley Days, My Three Sons, The One and Only, The Phantom Tollbooth, Original Family Band, I Dream of Jeannie and many more. In 1975 he left acting to work with his father and pursue music. In 1983 he released the song “Whatever Happened To Eddie?” with backup singers under the group name Eddie and the Monsters. In 2007 he released a second single with Park Lane Drive Records titled “It’s Only Halloween.” He eventually went back to acting, making appearances in several shows and films like the Simpsons and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.
