BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. Consisting of members V, Jungkook, Jimin, RM, J-Hope, Suga and Jin. Their debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool was a commercial hit within their native South Korea, and they then saw continual success with their next few EP’s, however it was their fourth album, Wings that went on to sell more than 1.5 million copies and they ended up becoming the highest charting artists in K-Pop history.
Their next album Love Yourself: Her, was also success, and the group reached massive international success when their massive social media presence caused them to win the Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Award, making them well known within the United States.
