Brian Robbins

Brian Robbins is an American actor, film director, and film and television producer born in Brooklyn, New York on November 22, 1963. He is best known for his role as Eric Mardian on the television show Head of the Class. He made his debut in acting in 1982 in the television show Harper Valley PTA and continued landing roles in shows and films like Knight Rider, Growing Pains, The Gladiator, Full House, Kenan & Kel, Newhart and others. In 1988 he made his writing debut on an episode of Head of the Class and has written for the films and shows All That, Big Fat Liar, and All That’s 10th Anniversary Reunion Special. He has been a producer on a number of shows and films, including One Tree Hill, Smallville, Wild Hogs, Fred: The Movie, Sonny with a Chance, Before I Fall, Blue Mountain State, and more. He has also been a director on a number of films and shows, including Hardball, Varsity Blues, Good Burger, The Shaggy Dog, Norbit, A Thousand Words, All That among others. Throughout his career he has been nominated for several awards and has won a Directors Guild of America Award, a CableACE Award, and a Heartland Film Festival Award.
