Brent Spiner

Brent Spiner, born Brent Jay Spiner on February 2nd, 1949 in Texas, he is an American comedian, singer and actor. With a career that began in the 1970’s his career began in stage, performing in such plays as The Three Musketeers and the musical Sunday in the Park with George.

Best known for portraying Lieutenant Commander Data for 15 years on Star Trek: The Next Generation and many other instalments in the Star Trek franchise, he appeared on many other television shows after such as the long running hit shows Frasier, Friends and The Big Bang Theory as well as films such as Independence Day and Independence Day: Resurgence.  Most recently he has portrayed characters in shows such as Outcast as Sidney and Blunt Talk as Phil.
