Birdman

Rapper and business mogul Birdman was born on February 15, 1969, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He rose to fame in 1997 when he formed Big Tymers, a rap duo with DJ Mannie Fresh. Together, the two released the album How Ya Luv That? in 1998, followed by I Got That Work in 2000 and later Hood Rich in 2002. At that time, however, he was performing under the name Baby, yet changed it to Birdman when he and DJ Mannie Fresh parted ways. Birdman then teamed up with rapper Lil Wayne to create the album Like Father, Like Son, featuring the singles “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” and “Leather So Soft”. The album was later certified Gold. 2007 saw the release of Birdman’s album 5 * Stunna, led by the singles “Pop Bottles” with Lil Wayne and “100 Million” featuring Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, and Lil Wayne. He then released Pricele$$ in 2009.
