Beyonce

Beyonce, born Beyonce Giselle Knowles- Carter on the 4th of September 1981 in Houston, Texas and is an American songwriter, singer and actress. Performing regularly as a child, the singer rose to fame in the late 1990’s as a singer in the girl-group Destiny’s Child, with the group Knowles collaborated with five albums released.

Going solo in the mid 2000’s, Beyonce became well known for her strong melodies, powerhouse voice and incredible live performances.  Thus far, the artist has released six albums, her latest album, titled Lemonade was accompanied with a visual album was critically praised with such hit songs as Formation, Sorry and Hold Up released as singles. Praised as one of the most powerful female performers of all time, Beyonce has been nominated for over 800 awards and won 300.
