Ben Foster
Benjamin A. Foster was born on October 29, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. Foster started young, dropping out of school at 16 to pursue an actor career. It was not long after that he first appeared in TV series Flash Forward (1996). In 2001, he would first be internationally recognized after being nominated for a Teen Choice award in Get Over It alongside Kirsten Dunst. From here he would go on to appear in The Punisher (2004), Hostage (2005) and Alpha Dog (2006).
If Alpha Dog gave a hint as to what he was capable of, it was only after 3:10 to Yuma (2007) that he would reach his pinnacle with a host of nominations for Outstanding Performance and Best Supporting Actor. He has been celebrated for his willingness to take on dark and intense roles, and more nominations will likely follow after he starred in Hell or High Water (2016).
