Aoife O’Donovan

Aoife O’Donovan, a Brooklyn-based folk singer and songwriter is best known as the front woman of the progressive string band Crooked Still. O’Donovan was featured as a vocalist on the Grammy winning album Goat Rodeo sessions along with artists Chris Thile, Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer and Stuart Duncan. After The Goat Rodeo Sessions in 2013 Aoife realize her dream of producing a record with Tucker Marantine by traveling to Portland, Oregon sign into Yep Roc records and making her first solo album Fossils in 2013. Fossils, is a collection of her original songs with a country flavor. This album got her praise from The New York Times and Rolling Stone who called her songs “Gorgeous” and her voice “pristine”. Tracks on the album include ‘Lay my Burden Down’, ‘Thursday’s Child’ and ‘Fire Engine’.
