Coming from New York City, Anthrax is a famous heavy metal band in America. They were formed way back in 1981, being among the biggest acts of metal music in history. Anthrax is often compared with acts like that of Metallica or Megadeth. Scott Ian and Dan Spitz became a formidable pair of the band with their mastery on playing guitars.

Their first album “Fistful of Metal” was launched with the joining of Joey Belladona and Frank Bello. During the ’80s and ‘90s, Anthrax became the leader of speed metal music. Their 1991’s “Public Enemy” is an album which comprised their experiment on hip hop music.
