Alok

Alok, born Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo on August 26th, 1991 in Goiania, Brazil is a DJ, musician, and producer from Brazil. He specializes in the genres of house, electronic, deep house, future house, and Brazilian bass. He got his music start early in life by being the song of DJ’s Ekanta and Swarup, who pioneered psytrance in Brazil and created the Universe Paralello Electronic Music Festival.  He began producing at the age of 12 and broke out as a solo artist at the age of 19. In 2012 he released his first single “Superstition.” He released numerous singles up to 2016 with his first charted single coming in the form of the song “Hear Me Now” with Bruno Martini and featuring Zeeba. The song charted in at number 54 on the Brazilian Dance Chart and number 20 on the US Dance Chart. House Mag has named Alok “Best DJ in Brazil” for two consecutive years in 2014 and 2015.  He was also ranked one of the Top 25 DJ’s in the World by DJ Magazine in 2016.
