Alkaline

Alkaline is the stage name of the Jamaican dancehall musician Earlan Bartley. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on December 19, 1993. Bartley attended high school at Ardenne High School and studied media and communication at the University of the West Indies. He started recording music at 16 years old and became popular in 2013 for several of his singles. He has released a large amount of singles over the course of his career, including “Ready”, “Lonely”, “Live Life”, “Sheg Up”, “Bruk Out”, “Gone Away”, “Nice Suh”, “Impact”, “My Love”, “Suave”, “Money Man”, “More Than Happy”, “Side Chick”, “My Side of The Story”, “Death To Microwave”, “Son of a Queen”, and many more. In 2016 he released his debut album titled New Level Unlocked that was released by DJ Frass Records. The album made it to the top of the Billboard Reggae Chart making him the first dancehall DJ to have a number one album for five years.
