Alizée is a French singer, dancer and voice actor born in Ajaccio, France on August 21, 1984. She is best known for her Platinum-selling debut album titled Gourmandises. She trained from the age of four to fifteen at the École de Monique Mufraggi dance school. She was discovered by the French singer Myléne Farmer in 1999 after winning a talent show. A number of her songs have reached the top 25 on record charts, including “Mademoiselle Juliette”, “Gourmandises”, “Moi… Lolita”, “L’Alize”, and “J’en ai marre!.” In 2000 she released her debut studio album titled Gourmandises and followed it up with the albums Mes Courants Électriques, Psychédélices, Une enfant du siècle, 5, and Blonde. She has also released a live album, a compilation album and 15 singles. Her music has also been featured in several movies. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Medal of Ajaccio, two DMX Awards, a Graines de star Award, a World Music Award, a Hit FM Award and more.
