Alice Merton

Alice Merton was born on the 13th of September 1993 in Frankfurt, Germany and is a Canadian-German-English singer and songwriter. Coming into mainstream attention on 2015 where he worked as a singer and songwriter on Fahrenhaidt’s album The Book of Nature, she moved to Berlin and then release the hit song No Roots. Going viral, the song reached number one.

Following the success of her first hit single, she released her first EP, No Roots in early 2017. The song reached number two in Germany and number one in France. Going on to sign with the US label Mom + Pop Music, her second single Hit the Ground Running was another success. Touring throughout Europe as an opening act for Bosse and Philipp Poisel she has recently won the European Border Breakers Award
