Ali Marpet

Ali Marpet was born as Alexander Marpet on Hastings-on-Hudson, New York on April 4, 1993. He was the 61st overall pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2015 NFL Draft.

In October 2018, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him to a five-year contract extension. He serves as the team’s left guard.

Marpet went to Hobart College, and he played in the 2015 Senior Bowl college football all-star game. Sports Illustrated included him in the All-Offense team and named him as the Senior Bowl’s biggest riser. He was also the Liberty League Co-Offensive Player of the Year in 2014.

Marpet went to Hastings High School while playing defensive end and offensive tackle. He earned all-section honors and was an all-league selectee twice.
