A.J. Bouye

A.J. Bouye is an American football player born in Tucker, Georgia on August 16, 1991. He currently plays as a cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League. Bouye played high school football at Tucker High School in Tucker, Georgia. He went on to play college football at the University of Florida with the Knights from 2009 to 2012. In 2013 the Houston Texans signed him to a three-year contract for $1.41 million and a signing bonus of $5k after he went undrafted in the 2013 NFL draft. He made his debut in a regular season game in the NFL in the Houston Texans season opening against the San Diego Chargers. He made his first career tackle on fullback Derrick Coleman during a game against the Seattle Seahawks. In 2016 the Texans signed him to a one-year contract for $1.67 million. After the 2016 season he became a free agent and was sought after by a number of teams. He ended up signing a five-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017 for $67.5 million with $26 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $10 million.
