99 Percent

99 Percent is a West Coast rap duo consisting of Camouflage and Jay B.  Jay B, born Johnnie Jacob Jr. on February 23rd, 1993 in Vallejo, California and his partner Camouflage, birth name Cameron Schauer, born on July 27th, 1992 in Vallejo, California, began making music in 2009.

99 Percent specializes in club tracks that incorporate numerous styles of hip-hop dance choreography within their videos and performances.  The Bay Area duo broke out in 2013 with their single “Yike In It.”  The music video helped to spur the dance form of yiking to national popularity in the U.S.  In 2015 they released their first single “Does Your Mama Know (Dance Like That).”  The video has achieved over 2.5 million views on YouTube to date.
In collaboration with music entertainment company Live Nation, 99 Percent appeared on the Let’s Dance 2016 U.S tour along with artists Silento, iLoveMemphis, and DLOW.  The duo scored their first Billboard Hot 100 track in 2017, alongside acclaimed rapper Flo Rida, with the single “Cake” which debuted at number 89.
